What are the boundaries of downtown Mount Prospect? Downtown Mount Prospect is defined by the MPDMA as: west on Central to Central Community Center, east on Central to the Library, north on Main Street to Central Plaza, south 200 block of Main Street, east on Northwest Highway to Mount Prospect Road, and west on Northwest Highway to Forest Avenue. Are businesses located outside of downtown Mount Prospect able to become members? All Mount Prospect businesses - located in the corporate boundary of the Village - may join the MPDMA according to the membership levels developed every year by the Membership Committee. Mount Prospect businesses located outside of the downtown boundaries interested in joining the MPDMA must understand the mission of the MPDMA is focused on promoting Downtown Mount Prospect. Are non-Mount Prospect businesses able to join the MPDMA? Businesses located outside of Mount Prospect's corporate boundary are not eligible for membership status. However, non-Mount Prospect businesses may sponsor events. All events have sponsorship levels for members and non-members. |
